Preparing for Adulthood

At Rocklands, we believe in a curriculum that prepares our children for life after Rocklands and beyond.

We deliver life skills across the curriculum through all subject areas, exposing children to knowledge and skills in the classroom, our local area/community, and on trips including residentials.

‘Live Your Best Life’

Each year, we host a careers and adulthood-themed week. The Hon. Stuart Lawrence visits Rocklands to share his work and celebrate our pupils’ talents during our Rocklands Has Got Talent show.

We also introduce children to a wide variety of career opportunities by inviting professionals into school to work with our children to build aspirations so that children can believe and become whatever they wish to be.
