Rocklands School Association of Staff, Parents and Friends (ASPF)
Our aim as the ASPF community is to raise extra money to enable the school to buy additional equipment, amazing new experiences for the children and to help the children be able to get additional resources / facilities. The ASPF are run by myself Paige Bird, Amii Griffiths and Natalie Murray and everyone else that helps, donates and comes along to the meetings.
We hold a meeting every term for parents and teachers to attend to share their ideas and get involved helping the ASPF. We cover topics that happen throughout the year, school trips, Christmas fair, Santa Claus, Stowe pool walk, Summer fair and much more.
Last academic year 2024/5 we:
- Raised money for an accessible school performing stage
- Funded new trampolines and sensory integration equipment for individual classes
- Over £3000 was raised for an end of your trip for every class, thanks to the sponsored laps by children around Stowe Pool.
- We are working on providing a long list of new equipment for the Sensory Garden and allotment area.
- MM and Theatre performed twice for the annual Panto visit to school.
- Every child had a personalised Christmas present and Easter gift.
- Leavers party.
What we want to achieve for 2025/26 school year with your help:
- To raise funds for a brand new climbing wall – this was achieved October 2025!
- To support Rocklands Digital plan by sourcing funds for over 100 new iPads – well over £30K was achieved by December 2025!
- Complete the sensory garden.
- Continue to support the wider curriculum, through extended community trips and visits from specialists.
