Liberty Jamboree

Our Partnership with Liberty Jamboree

Liberty Jamboree is dedicated to ensuring that children, young people, and young adults with learning or physical disabilities, neurodiversity, or Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Their vision is to empower every individual to achieve their full potential and lead confident, independent lives.

Supporting individuals aged 8–35 across Staffordshire and the West Midlands, Liberty Jamboree offers opportunities that help participants build skills, make choices, and contribute meaningfully to their communities—free from barriers and disadvantage.

At Rocklands, we are very proud to have enjoyed a long‑standing partnership with Liberty Jamboree. Many of our learners aged 8+ attend their fantastic after‑school clubs, weekend opportunities, and holiday clubs, including a wide range of sports and creative activities. To support accessibility, Liberty Jamboree provides transport on Mondays and Wednesdays, ensuring more of our children can take part.

We also welcome Liberty’s young people into Rocklands for regular work placements, supporting them to gain experience or work towards accredited awards. Additionally, they enrich our school community by leading dance sessions, football clubs, and performances with their inspiring singing choir. Their involvement provides wonderful role models for our children and showcases what is possible when young people are supported to thrive.
